**Bourque,** Jacques, Rock Forest (Qué.); Université Laval, 1953; radiothérapie diagnostique; ancien chef du département de radiothérapie service du Centre hospitalier St-Vincent-de-Paul. Décédé le 3 juillet 2001, à l'âge de 75 ans.

Cornett, J. William, Sebring, Fla.; Queen's University, 1945; former medical director, Johnson & Johnson, Ortho Pharmaceuticals and McNeil Laboratories. Died Aug. 19, 2001, aged 78; survived by his wife, Markie, and “children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.”

**Finley**, John A., Saint John, NB; McGill University, 1937; general surgery; FACS, FRCSC; former consulting surgeon, Saint John Regional and St. Joseph's hospitals. Died July 2, 2001, aged 89; survived by his wife, Marietta.

**Frankelson**, Elliot N., Vancouver; University of Manitoba, 1966; ophthalmology; FRCSC; former staff, Vancouver Hospital and Health Science Centre; visiting staff, Mount Saint Joseph Hospital; assistant clinical professor, University of British Columbia. Died of cancer June 30, 2001, aged 58; survived by 2 children, their mother, Sharon, and partner Katherine. His obituary stated: “He was an avid photographer, and certain of his finest pictures are displayed in Temple Sholom synagogue.”

**Gee**, Edgar M., Calgary; University of Manitoba, 1942; surgeon-lieutenant, RCN, WW II; general practice; associate staff, Holy Cross and Rockyview hospitals; courtesy staff, Calgary General Hospital. Died June 28, 2001, aged 81; survived by 4 children.

**Goldenberg**, Henry, York, Ont.; University of Toronto, 1943; internal medicine; FRCPC; former senior attending physician, Mount Sinai hospital; associate professor, University of Toronto. Died July 4, 2001, aged 83; survived by his wife, Helen, and 3 children.

**Gunn**, Eric R., Victoria; University of Edinburgh (Scotland), 1946; DIH(Eng.); former chief medical officer, Aluminum Company of Canada; consulting staff, Kitimat General Hospital. Died June 27, 2001, aged 77.

**Hajdu**, Andras, University of Budapest (Hungary), 1952; psychiatry; DPsy, FRCPC. Died June 15, 2001, aged 73.

**Jones**, John D., Huntsville, Ont.; University of Toronto, 1956; former chief of staff, president of medical staff and staff, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital; municipal councillor. Died June 10, 2001, aged 71; survived by his wife, Dianne, 2 children, and 2 stepchildren. His obituary stated: “He was the first physician in Huntsville to have special training in anesthesia. He came to Huntsville not only because of his marriage but also because of his love of the outdoors.”

**MacGillivray**, Gerard J., Oshawa, Ont.; University of Ottawa, 1968; pediatrics; FRCPC; former staff, Oshawa General Hospital; honorary consultant, Hospital for Sick Children. Died June 22, 2001, aged 57.

**March**, Raymond J., Burnaby, BC; University of Ottawa, 1955; general surgery; DABS, FICS, FACS, FRCSC; former chief, Royal Columbian Hospital; staff and bariatric surgery, St. Mary's, Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge hospitals; senior member, CMA. Died June 19, 2001, aged 76.

**McConnon**, Joseph K., Brampton, Ont.; University of Manchester (England), 1963; internal medicine; FACP, FRCPC; former consultant, Peel Memorial and Wellesley hospitals; lecturer, University of Toronto. Died June 6, 2001, aged 62; survived by his wife, Dr. Mari-Ann McConnon.

**McGarragle**, Maurice P., Windsor, Ont.; University of Western Ontario, 1976; former staff, Hotel-Dieu–Grace Hospital, Grace Site, and Windsor Regional Hospital–Metropolitan. Died June 14, 2001, aged 54.

**McKerracher**, Finlay, Nepean, Ont.; University of St. Andrew (Scotland), 1946; MACHA; former medical director (services), Ottawa Civic Hospital; secretary/treasurer, Association of Canadian Teaching Hospitals. Died July 2, 2001, aged 78; survived by his wife, Helen.

**McNeely**, Ross G., Victoria; University of Manitoba, 1941; pathology; former pathologist, Royal Jubilee Hospital; founder and director, Island Medical Laboratories, Vancouver Island. Died July 16, 2001, aged 87; survived by his wife, Marion, and 4 children. His son, Dr. Michael McNeely, observed: “He introduced some of the first laboratory automation in Canada, occasionally building some of the components himself. His dry wit was legendary. He performed quiet acts of kindness and charity, loved sailing with his family in the Gulf Islands, and gardening. He continually renovated his house, and was an indefatigable innovator and gadgeteer.”

**Senn**, Dilip K., Moncton, NB; University of Calcutta (India), 1945; DTM&H(Liverpool); former medical staff, Moncton and Dr. Georges-L. Dumont hospitals. Died July 2, 2001, aged 80; survived by his wife, Eileen.
