**Berry**, Frank, Victoria; University of Liverpool (England), 1952; general pathology; FRCPC; former consultant, Royal Jubilee Hospital. Died Mar. 2, 2002, aged 80.

**Carruthers**, Ewen P., Langley BC; McGill University, 1941; internal medicine; FCCP, FRCPC; RCAF, WW II; former physician, Kelowna General Hospital and Underhill Clinic. Died June 21, 2002, aged 86; survived by his wife, Dorothy, and a son. “He was the first specialist in cardiology to practise in the BC Interior.”

**Clarke**, Margaret E., Cobourg, Ont.; University of British Columbia, 1955; pathology; FRCPC; former associate pathology staff, Peterborough Civic, Chilliwack General, Dr. J.O. Ruddy (Whitby), Port Perry Community and Uxbridge Cottage hospitals. Died July 30, 2002; survived by her husband, Dr. Kenneth, and 4 children.

**Dansereau**, Jacques A., Montréal; Université de Sherbrooke, 1973; respirologue; ABIM, FCCP, FRCPC; ancien membre du personnel du Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal-Pavillon St-Luc; professeur clinicien adjoint de l'Université de Montréal. Décédé le 8 juin 2002, à l'âge de 53 ans; laisse son épouse, Claire Allard et cinq enfants.

**Dawe**, Gerald A., Merrickville, Ont.; Dalhousie University, 1947; anesthesia. Died May 26, 2002, aged 78; survived by 4 children and their mother, Ruby. “A passionate gardener and humble artist, he enjoyed a simple and full life surrounded by nature and his love of classical music.”

**Di Cori**, Settimio, Largo, Fla.; McGill University, 1987; diagnostic radiology. Died June 15, 2002, aged 43; survived by his wife, Mary.

**Guest**, Wilbur C., Winnipeg; University of Manitoba, 1941; ophthalmology; DABO; medical officer, RCAF, WW II; former staff, Health Science Centre–General and Deer Lodge hospitals; courtesy staff, Children's and Misericordia hospitals; ophthalmologist, RCAF; assistant professor, University of Manitoba. Died June 21, 2002, aged 83; survived by 3 children. “He was team doctor with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for 16 years.”

**Hébert**, Gilles J., Outremont (Qué.); Université de Montréal, 1950; gynécologie; ancien membre du personnel de l'Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Décédé le 26 novembre 2001, à l'âge de 79 ans.

**Larochelle**, Yves, Longueuil (Qué.); Université de Montréal, 1966; ancien membre du personnel agrégé du Centre hospitalier Pierre Boucher et l'Hôpital Charles LeMoyne. Décédé le 3 juin 2002, à l'âge de 58 ans.

**Mackenzie**, David J., Keswick, Ont.; University of Toronto, 1941; internal medicine, FRCPC; RCAMC, WW II; former staff, Sunnybrook, St. Michael's and Scarborough Centenary hospitals. Died July 1, 2002, aged 86; survived by his wife, Isabel, and 2 children. Colleague Ron Osborne commented: “David was part of a group from the Toronto General Hospital that went overseas together during the war and found common interests in medicine and bridge. When they returned to Toronto after the war, they met frequently to indulge in bridge, but with the passing of the years the group has been whittled down.”

**Morrison**, George E., Summerland, BC; University of British Columbia, 1956; MCFP; former staff, Summerland Hospital. Died with his wife in a gas explosion June 18, 2002, aged 77.

**Nancekivell**, Eric W., Ancaster, Ont.; University of Toronto, 1943; MCFP; medical officer, RCAMC, WW II; former staff, Hamilton Civic and Chedoke hospitals; courtesy staff, St. Joseph's Hospital. Died July 1, 2002, aged 85; survived by his wife, Isabel, and 2 sons. “He was a respected family physician on the Hamilton Mountain for over 40 years.”

**Poole**, Norman L., Calgary; McGill University, 1954; general surgery; FACS, FRCSC. Died July 12, 2002, aged 74; survived by his wife, Ann, and 5 children. “He practised general surgery in Baie-Comeau, Que., for 25 years.”

**Rohan**, Paul C., Montréal (Qué.); Université de Genève (Suisse), 1957; santé communauté; ancien chercheur de l'Hôpital général de Montréal; professeur de l'Université McGill. Décédé le 3 avril 2002, à l'âge de 82 ans.

**Watzenberg**, Douglas C., Montreal; University of Alberta, 1984. Died June 13, 2002, aged 43; survived by his devoted friend, Ron Reisler.

**Williamson**, Norval L., Nepean, Ont.; Queen's University, 1942; general surgery; FRCSC; former attending staff, Ottawa Civic and Riverside hospitals. Died June 25, 2002, aged 86; survived by 2 children. “He was a gentle man and a true gentleman.”
