The validity of recommendations from clinical guidelines: a survival analysis

*CMAJ* has been made aware of an error that occurred in the Nov. 4, 2014 issue.1

The first sentence under Funding at the end of the article reads: “This project is funded by research grants from the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (FIS PI10/00346 to Pablo Alonso-Coello) and from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (R. Brian Haynes).”

It should have read (with the correction in italics): “This project is funded by research grants from the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (Pablo Alonso-Coello), through the project ‘PI10/00346’ (co-funded by European Regional Development Fund/European Social Fund ‘Investing in your future’), and from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (R. Brian Haynes).” This has been corrected at cmaj.ca
