  • * Despite small differences in the point estimates, within each geographic area there was no evidence of a statistically significant difference in the characteristics of women by survey year. For example, in Ethiopia, the percentage of women with a recent live birth who reported having no formal education was smaller in 2015 than in 2012, but the confidence intervals (CIs) overlapped (61% [95% CI 52%–70%] in 2012 v. 54% [95% CI 47%–62%] in 2015).
