Died of kidney failure July 28, 2003, aged 53; survived by his wife, Judy, and 2 sons. “He was ambidextrous, which was a tremendous advantage in his field. He was one of those uniquely gifted surgeons who could do it all, all types of surgery,” urologist Richard Boyd told the Toronto Star. His band, London Set, once opened for the Rolling Stones.
