Died Apr. 12, 2005, aged 81; survived by his wife, Moira, his children, Dr. Judy, Dr. Erica, Dr. Genevieve, Claire, Leo, Martin, and Brendan, and 12 grandchildren.

Décédé le 2 juin 2005 à l'âge de 72 ans. Died Apr. 4, 2005, aged 79; survived by his wife, Moyra, 2 children and grandchildren. “Henry moved from the U.K. to Saskatchewan in 1962 with 100 miles of gravel to the nearest paved road. He stayed in Saskatchewan, except for a brief time in New Brunswick, until his retirement in 1994 to Vancouver Island.”

Died July 21, 2005, aged 60; survived by his wife and friend, Heather, his children, Blair, Jolene and Danielle. “He was a hard working and compassionate doctor, a devoted and loving husband, a fun and inspirational father, a wonderful brother and a good and generous friend to many. We will remember you always in our thoughts and actions.”
Hogg, Al, White Rock, BC; University of Western Ontario, 1942; medical officer, RCAF; active member of the Rotary Club, Kinsmen, Masons and Shriners. Died January 2005, aged 91; survived by his wife, Kathleen, 4 children and 7 grandchildren. “Al believed in service above self and showed this in his life and his practice. He was the second general practitioner in White Rock and was instrumental in building the town's first hospital.”
Howatt, Burton D., Stratford, PEI; Dalhousie University, 1951; general practice; Assistant Deputy Minister of Health, PEI; senior Pension Medical Examiner, DVA; participating in the field trials of the Salk polio vaccine. Died Dec. 25, 2004, aged 80; survived by his wife of 56 years, Eileen, his 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. “He loved his family and they have many happy memories. Next to them, water colours and gardening were his passions. His other interests included photography, electronics, woodworking and golf. He volunteered with the YMCA, Red Cross and local School Board. ‘What the heart gives away is never gone…it is kept in the hearts of others.’”

Died May 14, 2005, aged 88; survived by his wife, Ruby, his children, William, Joy, Leslie and Robert, 4 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren. “An avid curler and golfer, he was a longtime member of the Westmount Golf and Country Club, Kitchener.”

Rebhan, Augusta W., Wellington, Ont.; Johahn Wolfgang Goethe University (Germany), 1950; pediatrics; former Chief of Paediatrics, Woman's College Hospital (1962–66); Medical Director of Metropolitan Toronto Children's Aid Society (1964–66); associate professor, University of Toronto; and founder of a clinic for children with learning disabilities, Hospital for Sick Children (1966–84). Died May 7, 2005, aged 87.

Wyatt, John K., London, Ont.; University of Western Ontario, 1954; FRCSC; former professor and Chief of Urology, University of Western Ontario; past President, Canadian Urological Association; permanent President, Meds ‘54 and “described as ‘the heart and soul’ of the class.” Died Dec. 6, 2004, aged 74; survived by his wife, Mary, and 3 children. “John played football for 5 seasons with the Western Mustangs (Captain of 1952 Yates Cup Champions), and was an accomplished skier and avid golfer.”
